Dr Lucy Abraham commenced as the Clinical Lead for the Scottish Veterans Care Network in April 2020, and works with the team to provide Clinical leadership and direction in the development of the Scottish Veterans Care Network.
Lucy is also Clinical lead and Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Veterans First Point (NHS Lothian) and has worked therapeutically with Veterans in this service since 2010. She works with veterans who suffer from a wide range of mental health conditions.
Lucy is trained in the use of various treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Compassionate Mind Training and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy.
Lucy was honoured to be awarded ‘Civilian of the Year’ for her contribution to veteran health care as part of the 2013 Military and Civilian Health Partnership awards.
