Programme Associate Director
Kate has been the director of various Clinical Networks over a period of fifteen years including: Cardiac, Stroke, Cancer, Maternity, Neonatal and Paediatrics. Extra responsibilities came in the form of a Citizen Senate’s & Patient Voice and Insight Programme, which Kate has a particular interest in.
In July 2016 Kate had the pleasure of being in the role of ‘Head of ScotSTAR’ with The Scottish Ambulance Service and, since June 2017 Kate has held the position of Programme Associate Director for The Scottish Trauma Network (STN) working within the National Specialist and Screening Services Directorate (NSD) of National Services Scotland.
Kate’s more recent achievements include developing and delivering on a number of further National Strategic Networks for Scotland including: Neonatal, Maternity, Fertility, Police Care, Prison Care and Veterans Care which are built on the recognised exemplar model of the STN.
